A Wonderful Life

Good morning! I hope you all are off to a good start? Things have been a bit stressful here. . . our basement flooded over the weekend, and after some investigation, we found that we have a crack in our foundation. . . not good! But, even when things aren't "perfect", I still have a wonderful life! I have a wonderful husband who is so supportive, kind, loving, and not to mention handy having around, plus we have a cute little boy who keeps us on our toes, but who also brings so much joy and laughter into our lives! Though my life (like most everyone else) has its ups and downs, and is quite stressful at times, it is overall wonderful! It is just wonderful to be alive, to take in on a daily basis all of the many blessings God has provided for us. Yes, life doesn't have to be perfect to be WONDERFUL!

On that note. . . I have a card to share! Luckily only the unfinished half of the basement flooded, so my craft studio is dry! I am playing along with the Catherine & Cathy Create challenge, which is "Hearts-a-Flutter", and I thought this card couldn't be more perfect for the challenge, or my current situation!

For the background, I inked up the heart from the Perfect Pennants stamp set in Raspberry Ripple and then stamped it three times before re-inking, this gives it the dark/light/lighter effect. Then I stamped the sentiment on vellum cardstock for the overlay.
